Paper is clean and crisp with a slight discoloration around the very bottom edge of print. This discoloration in no way effects the image. Print has vivid color with fine lines of etching, as well as a strongly imprinted plate mark. Publisher and date are printed at the bottom of print. Print also includes a seperate description taken from the Botanical Registry of the discovery of the flower as well as any curious features the plant may have and how it fits in with botanicals in general. Woodblock print of what appears to be a temple celebration. Signed on the block on the right side and in pencil below left. Number 47/100. In the sosaku hanga arts and crafts style. Tokuriki was born into a family of 13 generations of Japanese artists in 1902. He was schooled in classic painting, supported himself with his post-ukiyoe woodblock prints, but considered himself an artist of sosaku hanga, what is called the creative print style. Museum mounted on pure rag archival matboard of a dark grey color that compliments the paper selected by Tokuriki. Ready to frame though image does not show the matboard. Ask for another image if desired. Window opening is 12 1/2" H x 17 1/2" W. The outside dimension is: ; 22" H x 24" w

ThIs item is a very nice photogravure reprint of an etching with a view of Basle, Switzerland by J. M. W. Turner, printed in light sepia brown ink. The print image is of a bridge and the daily life on the river with a strong architectural image of a section of the city on the right and a fading background of the city on the left beyond the bridge. The title and names of the artist, etcher, and engraver are labled beneath the plate under the image. The print is neat and clean with a strong plate mark and contains no tears, chips or discoloration. The outside dimensions of the paper are 12 1/2" H x 16" W and the image measures 7 1/2" H x 10 1/2 3/4" W reserv029 ; Prints; 7 1/2" H x 10 1/2 3/4" W
