The book is profusely illustrated with facsimilies of hand drawn figures of people, animals, tools, activities, beliefs - by natives of Brazil. There is a fold-out of star alignments of the Southern Hemisphere at the Equator. There is an excellent fold-out, six panel, two color map of the Koch expedition from 1903 to 1905 - clean, crisp, no spotting, small crease at the edge of one corner in the margin, far from the map. The book cover cloth split at the edge of the outer spine edge and has been professionally repaired. The front cover corners are slightly bumped. There is some light soiling. The end papers are clean as are the interior pages - with a former owner name in small letters near the interior hinge. There are no other marks or writing. This book will NOT fit the US Post Office Priority envelope - ask about First Class Intl postage by air for international shipments. ; 8vo; 70 + pages
