New York E. P. Dutton & Company 1975 0525292934 / 9780525292937 First Edition Hardcover Very Good+ in Very Good+ dust jacket
Nice hardback book in a dust jacket. The book is very clean with a tight and bright look. There is a former owner gift note on the front end paper and a clipping from what appears to be a librarians newsletter with photos and text of a 50th Birthday Party for Winnie The Pooh given by the publisher, Books-Across-The Sea Library and a New York Library branch. There is also a newspaper clipping of a book review written by Virginia Scott Miner. The person who wrote the gift note was a Virginia. There is some offsetting of the print image of the clipping on the opposite page and tape was used to hold the clipping. Virginia refers to the person receiving the book as an enchantress and it is dated 1975, the year of publication. The price clipped dust jacket shows some edge wear and a little rubbing where a touch of the top layer of color is worn in a tiny spot on the front panel. This is the memoir of the real Christopher Robin and Winnie-the-Pooh. ; 8vo
