The dust jacket shows wear - some closed tears, a little chipping to the corners, a tiny ship on the rear edge of the spine, some soiling to the front panel and spine which has a white background. It is now protected in a new, archival, see-through, and removable mylar cover which makes the book and jacket appear bright and cared for. There is a handsome lithograph of a cigarette box with pewter decoration used as the frontispiece for the book.
