This is a hardcover book - a later printing of this selection of work by Burroughs. Year 1899. 220 pages with illustrations from photographs in black and white. The covers are green cloth with a gilt decoration and title on the front cover and title on the spine. The front cover also has a gilt border. The top edges are also gilt. Book books is nice and tight, but there is fading on the spine. Covers and corners are crisp with NO bumped corners. The interior is crisp and clean with no soil. There is a ribbon marker that has left a shadow effect on the pages where it is located and in a half circle where the end of it was curled up into the pages. Well cared for. The book has a new archival removable, see-through mylar cover and the start of fading on the spine is less noticeable. ; 8vo; 220 pages
