This is a periodical from October 15, 1949 in softcover. 144 pages of prose, drama, poetry, essays, comments, excerpts and many illustrations and photographs - some tipped in, some in color, otherwise black and white. This edition includes four photographs of paintings by Mark Rotho (Betty Parsons Gallery) and a paragraph statement by Rotho about his paintings. The Table of Contents for this edition is three pages long. There is a woodblock reprint by Anne Ryan titled "In a Street". This item is nine publications of WIN magazine with non-sequential dating from September 28, 1978 through Septembe 1, 1980. The issues are September 28, 1978; March 15, 1979; March 29, 1979; April 12, 1979; April 26, 1979; May 3, 1979; May 10, 1979; May 31, 1979; September 1, 1980. Some of the themes in this collection are feminism, wars in Asia, interview with Hector Marroquin, Arms, Camp David, Arabs & Jews: Common Origins Lost in Clonflict; Nuclear Madness, Nagasaki, Atoms for Peace, Susquehanna River Sketches, rape, nonviolent approach, martial arts; Nuclear testing in Polynesia, National service; war machine; Peace demonstrations, Each magazine contains about 22 to 34 pages. Printed on newspaper quality paper with a soft paper covers. The size and paper changed on the 1980 edition and the magazine is a little larger than the other eight editions. Some covers are simple content text. The one on feminism was drawn by Julie Maas. The magazines are in very good to fine condition. Tight, bright, crisp, clean (with the exception of the first which has a very faint darkening on the upper tight hand corner of the cover which is nearly invisible. The last one has a light vertical crease in the middle. Well cared for and most of them do not appear to have been read. No marks or writing. No tears or chips. ; 4to

This is a softcover magazine published by the JM Huber Corporation in April of 1953 featuring and saluting the 50th Anniversary of Victor Red Seal recordings. This issue came with a RCA 45 record named "Huber Salutes RCA Victor" Side 1 is a copy of portion of the performance "Floradora" with the music "Tell Me, Pretty Maiden" by Vess L. Ossman, the Banjo King, originally recorded October 7 1902. Side 2 is a copy of John Philip Sousa's "Stars and Stripes Forever" originally recorded May 28, 1926. The record number is E3-C5-1387. The cover is a photograph of the artist who provided RCA with the painting of Nipper, the most famous dog in the world, listening to " His Master's Voice". The dog was a pet of the artist, Francis Barraud. Seven pages are devoted to RCA. There are black and white photos of famous people and ensembles (Toscanini, Caruso, Maria Duchene, Patrice Munsel, cast of Hazel Flagg) There is a photo of employees sitting on the steps at the first office in Camden, NJ. , some history, a photo of record cutting and advertisements. The Huber company made carbon black and provided other materials for the record. Other articles are about oil production equipment, forestry-lumber, and headquarter news. The paper for the record features the Huber Corporation in the words. The 45 appears to be in fine condition. The magazine is near fine - there is a little wrinkle at the bottom of the spine. Tight binding - stapled. Clean and crisp. No marks no writing. There are two tape marks on the paper pocket for the record. Evidently, it was attached to a magazine page. It is presently inserted in the magazine - untaped. Well cared for. The J. M. Huber company was establishd in 1883 and continues to manufacture and manage diversified industries. ; 8vo; 23 pages
