The corners and top and bottom of the spine show a little wear. The end papers are a typical brown coated paper for that period. There is a former owner name in pencil on the end paper and the first blank page. There are a few holes and a chip on the end papers. The interior pages are firmly bound, crisp, and clean. The cover is an orange art paper cover with the Table of Contents on the cover. The covers are clean except for dates of the year and volume number in ink at the top corners and a stamp that says Duplicate. There are two faint creases on the back cover. The spine has a hint of fading. The interior is clean and crisp. There is tiny dots of foxing on the book edges (acidic reaction to the environment over time) . The book doesn't appear to have been read or referred to. Photo illustrated for Arabella Fields and W. C. Handy and one photo for Billy Eckstine. ; Number 1; Vol. 8; 8vo; 133 pages

1940 First Edition Softcover 
This is the 1940 Program for the movie Fantasia. There is a large black and white photo of Leopold Stokowski with a facsimile signature. Deems Taylor is the narrator - he wrote the text that supports the music, photos of staff at work and visitors, plus some of the the art work. There is a Table of Contents for the music, a large photo of Disney, one page about Bach's Toccata and Fugue; three pages about Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite; two pages about Dukas's Sorcerer's Apprentice; Stravinsky's Rite of Spring; Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony; Ponchielli's Dance of the Hours; Monssorgsky's Night on Bald Mountain; Shubert's Ave Maria; a section on sound with black and white photos explained; two pages on the making of of the film with 8 small photos explained; two pages of miscellaneous photos - explained, and a closing. There are four color images of art by teams of artists - Kay Nielsen was on the team for the last two. The program contains many names of people who worked on the film are printed and some are in the photos. Each page has some kind of drawn art from the film - in black and white or tinted in a soft color. The cover has a white background with a dark green background for the title with Disney characters in color surrounding the title. The rear cover is solid dark green. The book program is light in weight, but large - approximatedly 12 3/4" tall and 9 3/4" wide. This program has a tight binding with a slight loss of color to the rear part of the spine. The binding is stapled. There is a light touch of curling to the two outer corners at the tips of the corners, and a faint rubbing to the color on the rear cover. The interior pages are crisp and clean. Well taken care of. It is in very good (plus) condition if not near fine. This is the 1940 Souvenir Program. The music and art are emphasized. ; 4to; 28 pages

47 Taylor, King WESTERN SONGS
Softcover Illustrated by Photograph 
This is a paper covered booklet titled Western Songs by King Taylor. There are nine songs contained between two pieces of paper tied with ribbon used to bind the covers and the pages together. There is a photograph of a cowboy on a horse with the horse facing to the right and the rider turned slightly on the horse to face the photographer. Music and lyrics are on a music scaler. Seven of the songs are double page facing each other. The reverse sides are blank. There is no title page. Two of the songs are on a single page. A copyright date of 1937 for King Taylor is on the lower left corner of each song. The paper used for the printing of the music is in very good condition - crisp, clean, no marks or writing. The covers are quite worn. There are tears on the spine, now mended with Japanese tissue. The lettering on the front cover "Western Songs" plus "by King Taylor" is a metallic gold that has dulled. The wording is "Western Songs by", then the photograph, and then "King Taylor" below the photo. There are chips along the edges - the paper is brittle. Titles of the first three songs are - Throw Away the Key, At the End of the Deadwood Trail, Back to My Old Cheyenne Saddle. The photograph is fading. This items if fragile, but will be packaged and wrapped carefully. ; 8vo

They appear to be untouched except for five pages that have a tiny wrinkle at the bottom corner tips, not too noticeable. The dust jacket is clean and crisp.
