Illustrated in black and white with some color photos. The project of the Design Center took place in 1990 and involved a trip north on the Mississippi with 21 students and 30 participants - faculty, artists, writers, architects. "The Center's mandate is to bring design back into the planning of the urban landscapes...." The book is in near fine condition. There is a tiny spot on the back cover. The book has a stiff art paper cover with a stapled binding. The cover is Ia beige-tan and has a grouping of line drawings on the cover. Tight, bright, crisp, clean except for the tiny spot. There are no rough edges or wear to the covers, but there is spot damage near the top of the front cover that extends down into the gilt filled title which is near the top of the book.
