Detroit, MI Living Magazine 1944 First Edition Softcover 
This is a thin magazine issued in the Summer of 1944. Featured on the center spread is an article written by J. Edgar Hoover about the FBI catching 'Fifth Colum' enemies (WWII) with an emphasis on the enemies arriving in the U S by submarine. The cover art is a photo of a young boy sitting in a chair-table made for children, but poring milk from an old fashioned milk bottle into a dog's dish from the heiht of approximatelt 2 feet or moee. The little dog is watching. The magazine also has a story by Fannie Hurst and a story about Fibber McGee and Molly - radio stars of that period. There are many advertisements and other columns and practical information for wood workers, cooks, post war jobs. The magazine has a stapled binding and is very good condition with one, very short, closed tears and a coupld of creased. A former owner mailing label is on the back cover. Sixteen pages are printed, including the reverse sides of the cover pages. ; No 11.; Vol. 2; 8vo; 16 pages
