This is a Brown & Bigelow print of a pin-up portrait by Jules Erbit. The image is a beautiful woman gazing back at the viewer. She has a turquoise shawl showing a bare shoulder. The color or the shawl matches the color of her eyes. Her shawl comes together where four yellow-peach roses are held. Her hair is red-auburn with touches of light. The border of the image is bright yellow-orange colors. The artist's name is on the print. All the colors are bright and vibrant and print remains clean with no tears or chips. The outside dimensions of the paper are 17 1/2" H x 13 1/4" W . The images measures 16" H x 12" W . This appears to be a print used in a calendar or prepared as a saleman's sample. There is a note under the title (Sweetheart ) about a description that can be found 'under the calendar pad' (the calendar pad did not come with the print) . The Brown & Bigelow copyright is on the right bottom corner along with the logo, Tintogravure and a 1932 date.. The number 23220 and the name Jules Erbit is printed on the left bottom corner. Paper is slightly yellowed consistant with age and the top and bottom right corners are chipped, lower one more extensively so, there is also a shallow chip out of the left hand edge.
