This is a pamphlet from the Geological Survey of Pennsylvania. Extract from Annual Report for 1885. There are four parts: Description of the Archbald Pot-Holes, Nanticoke Mine Disaster of December 1885, Description of the Buried Wyoming Valley, Between Pittston and Kingston, Description of a New Substance Resembling Dopplerite, from a Post-Glacial Peat-Bog at Scranton. It covers pages 615 through 656. There is a paper cover with the title page on the front and a blank back page. The spine is squared. There is a little discoloration on the paper covers, the interior is clean and well preserved. There are some photo illustrations and maps. ; 8vo
