This is a hardcover book published in 1874 and noted as a New Edition. The covers are paper covered with a pebbled cloth spine that is disintegrat ing. There is even edge wear on the boards. There is a beautiful engraved bookplate by E. D. (Edwin Davis) French designed for Lucius Fisher, dated 1905, the year before French's death. There are some pencil erasures on the end paper and a touch of repair at the hinges. The interior pages are clean. . This is the ideal edition for a bookplate collector who desires books to reback. ; 8vo
