This is a hardcover book without a dust jacket. The book is wonderfully illustrataed. There are five exquisitely printed (color) chromolithographs and other brown ink lithographs. The covers are illustrated in black and white tones and with gilt titles and embellishments. The book was designed in England and printed in Germany. The paper covered boards are worn along the edges and there is some light soiling. The spine is brown cloth and the binding and hinges are tight. The interior pages are clean. The end papers are a delicate flowered. There are no marks or writing. The interior pages are mostly clean. Delightful book illustrated by Helena Maguire.
