Salten, Felix WALT DISNEY'S BAMBI
New York Simon & Schuster 1941 Hardcover
This is a hardcover First Edition of the Walt Disney book published by Simon & Shuster in 1941. It has the four extra illustrations bound in at the front of the book in fine condition. The covers are clean as is the interior except for a spot on the edge of the first page of the story and a dot on the front edges of the book. The interior pages are bright, crisp, and clean - there is no writing, no names, no chips, no marks, no creases. The corner of the covers have been touched up. The exterior of the spine has a firm binding and is complete. The interior end pages are in a lemon-lime color - they have separated at the interior hinge (gutter) and are slightly weak. The covers are illustrated with a forest scene with deer. The illustrations are full page in additon to the extra pages) - and some illustrations are within the text -in full color with delightful drawings by Disney artists - das they appeared in the film. ; 4to
