Woodblock print of what appears to be a temple celebration. Signed on the block on the right side and in pencil below left. Number 47/100. In the sosaku hanga arts and crafts style. Tokuriki was born into a family of 13 generations of Japanese artists in 1902. He was schooled in classic painting, supported himself with his post-ukiyoe woodblock prints, but considered himself an artist of sosaku hanga, what is called the creative print style. Museum mounted on pure rag archival matboard of a dark grey color that compliments the paper selected by Tokuriki. Ready to frame though image does not show the matboard.
