This is a booklet that has been placed in a custom cover with two minor ex-library numbers. The title page of the American Patriot Office in Boston precedes a forword providing background to the article. The article is 29 pages, printed in Washington at a government printing office dated 1856. This is original 1856 publication, not a reprint. The booklet is neat, crisp, and clean with small, modest ex-library stamps at the top and bottom of the foreword and ink mark at the bottom edges. A light blue art paper cover has been made for the article and the original binding perforations were used for a new cord binding. Well cared for and now protected. ; 8vo; 31 pages

This is a cover-less book which appears to be the first edition. It is a thick book with the last eight pages and 1/2 of the title page missing. This is a lengthy history (446 of 454 pages, plus Table of Contents, and numerous half tone photographs of leading Bishops and leaders. Approximately 2 1/2 pages are devoted to a Booker T. Washington address to the Twenty-Fourth General Conference held in Kansas City in May of 1912. Clearly, this book is missing its cover and the last eight pages. At some point is was not well cared for. The existing pages are generally clean except for a litte smudging. The book will be sent with an art paper neutral toned jacket that will surround the book with an opening. There will also be a title on the spine of the wrapper so that the book can look a little better on a book shelf and be more identifiable. This book was published by Church leaders Ira T. Bryant and John R. Hawkins in 1915 and printed by the Sunday School Union Print in Nashville, TN. ; 8vo
