This is a first edition hardcover book in a dust jacket. The book is in fine condition except for a small, former owner stamp on the half-title page. Tight, bright, very clean covers and pages with no other marks or writing. The unclipped dust jacket is equally crisp and very clean with only a touch of wear at the top of the spine and two closed tears at the bottom of the spine - now protected in a see-through, removable mylar cover. This is a full brown leather hardcover book without a dust jacket. This volume (II) is a handsome tightly bound book with a bright gilt title and decoration on the cover and spine. The plays are Don Carlos, The Misanthrope, Wallenstein's Camp, The Piccolomini, The Death of Wallenstein, Mary Stuart, The Maid of Orleans. The book is illustrated with high quality steel engravings on heavy paper, full page wood engravings with tinted borders, and in text wood engravings. The end papers are without marks or writings, however there are two marks left from tape (? ) that may have left from taping a cover. The tape marks are small and are at the top and bottom of the pasted down end paper near the spine with a touch of offsetting to the adjacent free end paper. The interior pages are crisp and clean. The cover has a repair to the lower front cover with some loss of gilt defining the corner. There is light wear to the edges and the bottom of the spine. This book has been well cared for. The book is well constructed and is printed on quality paper, somewhat heavy, and may require extra postage if shipped by air. ; Vol. 2; 4to; 388 pages

This is a First Edition hardcover book in a dust jacket. Tight, clean black cloth over thin book board and a bright gilt title on the spine. . There is a touch of rubbing on the cover. The end papers are discolored in places from the effects of glue used in the binding. The pages are crisp and clean. There are no marks or writing. The dust jacket has some light chipping at the corners, mostly at the top of the spine, light edge wear, and there is some smudging along the fold lines. There is old tape on the inside of the jacket at the top of the spine and back corner. Unclipped. Wright and Bly selected and translated the poems of Trakl, an influential German poet who died at age 27. The original poem in German is printed adjacent to the English translation. ; 8vo; 61 pages

This is a hardcover book without a dust jacket, as issued. . The covers are green cloth with a black filled blindstamped pictorial design and title on the cover and spine. The first third of the book has eighteen action packed, delightful black and white full page illustrations by Phillip Sporrer. There are two additional tales credited to G. A. Burger. The binding is tight, the covers are clean and crisp. There is a slight touch of corner wear..There is a former owner name on the end paper. There are no other marks or writing. The end papers are/were a dull yellow which may have darkened somewhat. The interior pages have an occasional small and light smudge, but are otherwise quite bright and clear. There was a tear to the book board at the top of the spine, but without weakening. There is a remnant of a small book store label on front pasted down end paper. The book is in German. ; 8vo
