The dust jacket is equally crisp and clean. Unclipped. Protected in a new archival, see-through and removable mylar cover. Llustrated mostly in black and white with some in color. Preface, eight parts geographically divided, and an Index with Latin names for the plants. The book covers are a simulated fabric (moire) with a nice sheen and light metallic gilt ink title on the cover and spine. Well cared for. The authors were with the Design Center for American Urban Landscape at the University of Minnesota. There is a postcript by Harrison Fraker; Dean, College Architecture Landscape at the U of MN. Illustrated in black and white with some color photos. The project of the Design Center took place in 1990 and involved a trip north on the Mississippi with 21 students and 30 participants - faculty, artists, writers, architects. "The Center's mandate is to bring design back into the planning of the urban landscapes...." The book is in near fine condition. There is a tiny spot on the back cover. The book has a stiff art paper cover with a stapled binding. The cover is Ia beige-tan and has a grouping of line drawings on the cover. Tight, bright, crisp, clean except for the tiny spot. There are no marks or writing . The interior is also crisp and clean. ; Vol. 150; 4to; 32 pages
