TIght, clean hard back book with cloth sheen faintly missing at bottom of front panel. Unclipped dust jacket as discoloration on the inside of jacket at the spine. Spine title starting to fade slightly. Front pictorial is delightful, 40's style art of a shapely lady with tape measure and splotch of blood. Chipping at corners. Light brown pencil erasure stain on E of Murder. Background beige of back panel is probably darkening, but all looks bright in mylar protective cover. Scribner A and colophon. ; 8vo
