The dust jacket is unclipped, clean on the front cover and spine, but with light soil on the back panel. There is a slight discoloration on the spine and some light edge wear. A possible ticket stub is laid in - it appears to be from a presentation of a book about his daughter presented by Robert Brunner. This is the 1867 edition of two works bound as one. There are 359 pages for Egypt and Sinai and 355 pages for the Holy land. There are two title and copyright pages. Each has a frontispiece - one is a portrait of Randall, the other a scene - both with tissue cover overlays. Each work is illustrated with reproduced scenes and maps. The cover is leather and marbled boards. The binding is in very good condition - just a touch of corner wear (now polished) . Tight and soundly structured. The end papers are marbled. There is a label in the upper left corner of the pasted down end paper indicating that the book was once sold by Goodspeed (From Great Western Publishing Agency Goodspeed & Co. There is a second label in the center of the front pasted down end paper indicating that the book was once in the collection of Rev. Jewel I. Pickett. All the pages are quite crisp and clean, but with light, occasional foxing. Well cared for. ; 8vo

The dust jacket is an art paper cover by the publisher with a portrait of Osler and and orange and black ink boder with title on the front cover and spine.
