There are seven original photographs (one laid in) in this thesis book , many diagrams and tables (one laid in) , and many formulas throughout the work. The binding is a dark maroon facsimile leather with a title in gilt (dulled) The cover is clean in a tight binding with a little touch of wear at the bottom of the spine. The interior is very clean and crisp. The photo laid in has a tiny crease on each of two corners in the margin. This photo is of the author near a door related to the work. The hinges are strong, corners straight, and there are no marks or writing. There is a half tone photograph of Outcault for a fontispiece. He is the author and illustrator. The book contains clever resolutions of a young boy with line drawings to illustrate Buster Brown and his dog - they are printed on one side of the page only..
