There is a handsomw vine logo printed in black and red at the bottom of the cover. The covers have some spots and chipping (one at the bottom of the spine, another narrow chip at the bottom of the front cover) . This set is a disbound Part 2, 3, 4, and an Appendix. It was previously bound in, evidenced by glue and little pieces of leather remnants. The Second Part of the Treachery and Disloialty of Papists to their Soveraignes, ... , There is a title page, a foreword with decorative devices, and 79 pages of text and a blank verso. There is a triangle corner chip on the title page (one inch in from the corner point) , fore edge light chipping. The Third Part of The Soveraigne Power of Parliaments and Kingdomes Wherein the Parliaments present Necessary Defensive Warre against the Kings offensive Malignant, Popish forces; and Subjects taking up Defensive Armes .... . There is a title page, a dedication with decorative devices, Epistle to the reader, and the text - 152 pages. The pages are misnumbered starting at page 87. Some of the correct numbers have been crossed out and written in ink. The Fourth Part of The Severaigne Power of Parlaments and Kingdomes Wherein the Parliaments Right and Interest in ordering the Militia, Forts, Ships, Magazins, and the Great Offices ... . Title page, foreword with decorative devices, 27 pages of text. The Appendix is 218 pages and an Errata page. The Errata page is loose. Throughout each part, there is a occasional edge wear, a touch of creasing, darkened edges, and what looks like an embossed seal on the upper corners. A early former owner has underlined many sentences and added marginalia in a very small script in ink that has oxidized. They appear to be comments, critiques, corrections, or elucidation of the contents. One page in the Appendix has a small ink smear (font still readable) . There is residue of a pencil erasure of the author's name on the title page of Part two. The binding is tight except for one loose page and the pages are clean. These are the text blocksonly. Disbound 1643 work completed in Parts. Does not include Part 1. Collation on request and full content of title pages. ; 8vo
