This is a softcover book published by the Blackfriars at the University of Chicago in 1920. The production of Barbara Behave! was the Sixteenth Annual College Comic Opera for that year. It was held at Mandel Hall on May 21, 22, 28, 29 . This was a student production. The Blackfriars was named after the theatre in London. There is a page of the covers of productions from 1908 through 1919 in black and white. . There are two pages with photos and text about Board of Superiors followed by a list of Lay Brothers and another about the staff - with photos. This is all followed with a page about the play the cast, the producers, the musicians, and background. The music and lyrics start on page 17. The cover appears to be a woodblock print in black, white, and shades of green. A name appears on the cover - it is most likely the artist - Birren. The book has a tight binding and the interior pages are all mostly clean with no marks or writing, but there is a little smudging at the page edges and a touch of wear at the corners. . The cover has smudging and some small spots. . The cover has a former owner name in ink at the top of the front upper margin. There is smudging on the rear which is white. There is some spotting in the margin. There is a little wear to the corners. Tall, wide, lightweight. ; 4to; 80 pages

This is a handsome exhibition catalog from 1966. There were 172 items detailed in this catalog on art paper, followed by 60 black and white photograph plates of some of the items. The details are nicely arranged on a cream art paper, the plates are on glossy paper. There is a soft green art paper cover with a line drawing of serving pieces with a floral design embossed and in white. The binding is tight and the covers are quite clean except for a loss of color in two tiny places on the rear cover. There is a faint touch or corner wear at the tips of the front corners. There is a spot on the inside cover that transferred to the end paper. There are no marks or writing. The interior pages are crisp and clean. The exhibition dates were June 10 through July 31 (1966) . ; 8vo

The binding is tight, the paper and condition is in near pristine condition, crisp, clean, bright. There is one small faint spot on the front cover and a short (1/4") closed tear on the cover - now repaired with archival, nearly invisible tape on the inside of the cover. There are no marks or writing, no tears, no chips, no creases. The cover is partly Art Nouveau in a green and violet design. The title page indicates that the program is Uner Auspices of Muscatine Civic Association. Names listed are Oscar Gresheim and Prof. Paul F. Voelker. There is advertising of local businesses throughout. Performers are featured, some with black and white photos. There were four performances each day from June 26 through July 4. ; 8vo; 36 pages

This is a soft cover Centennial Exhibition Catalogue from 1976. The Exhibition of Clara Mair's work took place at the Minnesota Museum of Art in 1976. The etchngs were loaned by the Ben and Abby Grey Foundation. Clara was a Minnesota artist, born in 1878 in Hastings, MN. She studied St. Paul, Philadelphia, Paris. Her work is in many collections. There are approximately 50 works in the catalogue, all in black on the same paper as the covers. There are brief texts and bibliographiuc information. The covers are of soft art paper in a tan color with a fine line border and her first name on the cover in burnt-red ink. The cover is quite clean, however there is a repaird split at the fold line at the top of the spine. There is a slight curve to the and a faint spot on the bottom corners. The interior pages are clean and crisp. Delightful art - most works in this Exhibition seem to come from the 1930's. Delightful art. ; 8vo; 48 pages
