There is a former owner gift note on the front end paper and a clipping from what appears to be a librarians newsletter with photos and text of a 50th Birthday Party for Winnie The Pooh given by the publisher, Books-Across-The Sea Library and a New York Library branch. There is also a newspaper clipping of a book review written by Virginia Scott Miner. The person who wrote the gift note was a Virginia. There is some offsetting of the print image of the clipping on the opposite page and tape was used to hold the clipping. Virginia refers to the person receiving the book as an enchantress and it is dated 1975, the year of publication. The price clipped dust jacket shows some edge wear and a little rubbing where a touch of the top layer of color is worn in a tiny spot on the front panel. This is the memoir of the real Christopher Robin and Winnie-the-Pooh. ; 8vo

Inscribed, dated and signed by the author. The copyright date, Foreword date, and ink date by the author is 1908. The cover is a simple paper with a christmas tree design, title and author name within a border. The type has been hand set with a decorative devise preceding each chapter. The interior is fine, but this delicate book has some chipping on the art paper jacket as well as some over all faint soiling as if from fireplace smoke with a dime size circular spot on the back of the jacket. The jacket is glued to the spine and on the flaps - as designed. There is some browning on the tips of the pages. There are no other marks or writing. IInterior fine. The flaws of the jacket are deflected because of a lightweight mylar cover to contain the chipping effect. The story ends with lyrics of a lullaby. Charming little book. ; 8vo; 53 pages; Signed by Author
