SIGNED by Pierre Broussard, illustrator. French style softcover book. Limited edtion, this is number 634 of 2200. There are twelve full page illustrations with tissue guards. This book is signed on the half title page by Broussard, one of the prominent Art Deco artists of France. He studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts and was well known for the work he did for the fashion houses of Paris. The book would be fine except for faint soil on the back panel and a little wear at some edges. The interior is fine. Protected in a see-through, removable mylar cover. This 3/4 Moroccan leather binding is a dark color over blending marbled boards. The leather and boards are in new looking condition and without wear. There are some small raised spots where the glue did not completely adhere. The end papers are marbled and without writing or wear. The original wrappers are bound in and the wrappers and pages are crisp, clean, and without wear. This book has been well cared for. In French. ; 8vo; 283 pages

This is a fun cookbook in soft cover published around the time of the Carter presidency. No date is printed . The book publisher was the owner of a successful Minnesota real estate company. The first page has two recipes - one by Rosalyn Carter, the other by Joan Mondale with Rosyln Carter and Walter Mondale facsimile signatures. The next 25 pages are recipes of Senators of that time including Strom Thurmond (Pecan Pie) , Muriel Humphrey (Beef Stew) , Barry Goldwater (Arizona's Fine Chile) , Adlai Stephenson (Brunswick Stew) . Pages 27-30 are recipes of famous people, Princess Grace (Farcis - Stuffed Vegetables) , Lucille Ball (Lucy's Sunday Night Supper for Two or Twenty) . There are facsimiles of the signatures. There are the Ohio State Apple Pie winners. Recipes by categories with names, and the inside of the back cover has four Minnesota recipes, including Elegant Poached Lake Trout. The cook book is near fine. There are no marks or writing. There is a little touch of paper loss on the front cover from a small piece of pricing tape that was removed.
