This is a softcover original booklet published in November, 1910 - 64 pages from the Papers of the Peabody Museum of American Archaeology and Ethnology (at) Harvard University. The plain brown paper covers show some chipping at the top and bottom of the spine and there is a round shadow from a sticker that was on the wrapper cover. There is a touch of faint discoloring. The interior pages are very clean - the book has not been read - the pages are uncut at the fold or the paper. The fore-edges are untrimmed. The title page is printed on the cover. All text, except for some in-text glyphs and two pages from the Perez Codex. In general, the booklet has been well cared for. ; 8vo; 64 pages

The book has a stapled binding which is strong. There is a hint of a little handling - a slight curl to the top corner. The book cover is quite clean. This set includes 10 Volumes of pochoir prints with text in French depicting French fashion from 1037 to 1870. Each volume contains twelve pages of prints, each page has approximately 9 to 15 images. Printed in France c.1925, the prints are shown in a style similar to the pochoir prints of the artists known for their Art Deco fashion art. Pochoir is a form of stencil. Ink has been applied to outlines of drawings. Each page is an original inked print, some in metallic ink. The drawings depict fashion over the centuries. The fashions of the eras include robes and capes, headdress, gloves, full dress, tunics, sleeves, neck pieces, embroidery and trim, purses, jewelry, and footwear. There is also a pochoir print on the front and back of each cover. Each volume is covered in a glassine wrap which is well worn. All covers are in good condition except one which has a blue offset stain that is mostly in the margins except for one line that goes across the print on the cover. There are a few short closed tears on the cover. The interior pages are near fine, very clean and without marks. The eras decited are: Moyen Age, Rennaissance, Henri III-Louis XIII, Louis IV, Louis XV, Louis XVI, Revolution, Empire, Restauration, Second Empire. The size of each plate is 14 5/8 inches high x 10 3/4 inches wide. ; Vol. 1/10/06; 4to
