Small etching by this well known Hudson River School painter in near fine condition of a lone man herding his cattle along a simple country road through the woods. Image is rather dark and ominous as rain pours down on the cattle and the farmer with an umbrella. Beautiful etching with fine dark line work and strong plate mark. Museum mounted in neutral ivory archival matboard. Window opening is 3 3/4" H x 6" W. The image size is 2 3/4" H x 5" W. The outside dimension of the matboard is ; 10" x 13"
