This is a tall, think booklet with cover art by Antonio Rodriquez Luna. There are several paragraphs of text by Charles Seeger, Chief, Music Division (Pan American Union) There is a Preface by Alan Lomax and another by Gustavo Duran in English. Duran translated the original work. The music lyrics are in Spanish, and the introduction to each is in English. The look of the pages appear to be typed manuscript style. There is a hand drawn map of the area of Texas and five surrounding states. The cover art of Rodriguez Luna (a listed artist) is of three singing cowboys, a horse, cactus, and adobe looking building (black and white) . The booklet is inserted in a new custom cover made of archival beige art paper bound in thread with a newly printed label. Protection for the covers of the booklet. No glue has been used. The booklet is clean, fresh, and with a krinkle to some pages near the spine. The edges are crisp. There is a pinpoint puncture of a former library name on the title page, barely visible.
