This is the first edition hardcover book published in 1910. The book has a tight binding, green cloth cover with a river scene in black and Egyptian stylized flower and rive scene accents in light blue ink. The title in the spine is in gilt and the cloth has darkened. The rear covers has some spots; the front cover is clean. There is a touch of cloth fraying at the very tips of the cornres. The end paper as a bookplate of George Young Hull who is supposed to be connected to the Hull House in Chicago. There is another former owner gift note on the other end paper with a love greeting (dated Dec 16, 1910. . The interior pages are clean and crisp. The book has full page illustrations by F. Perlberg. ; 8vo; 205 pages
