This is a Volume Two soft cover book published in 1938 by The Edison Institute. 915 pages, this is a smaller than normal, but thick book containing Part 3 and 4 from the series. Part three is titled Early Development of Incandescent Electric Lighting as told to Francis Jehl (by Thomas Edition) from 1879 to 1880 (chapters 54-69) . Part four is Later Development from 1880 to 1881 (chapters 70 to 90) . Illustrated throughout in black and white. The covers are a soft green art paper. This book has a tight bindings and covers with minimal wear - a touch of wear to the corners and a dime size spot on the front cover - appears to be a water spot. Rear pages have a slight ripple at the bottom of the pages. The end papers are green and have no marks or writing. The interior pages are all crisp and clean. Well cared for. This is Volume two. Volume one and three are not included with this book. Volume two is a stray. Jehl was associated with Edison for most of his life. ; 8vo; 915 pages
