This is a softcover book published by the Blackfriars at the University of Chicago in 1922. The production of Anybody's Girl was Eighteenth Annual College Comic Opera for that year. It was held at Mandel Hall on May 5, 5, 12, 13. This was a student production. The Blackfriars was named after the theatre in London and there are two pages about the theatre written by Charles Breasted in 1920. There is a list off all members since 1904 and there is another page devoted to the staff of 1922 with five photos and a list of names. There is a group photo and list of names for the Brothers of the Order, a bio of the Producer, Hamilton Coleman and a short briefing on the play. There are two pages with an index of songs and a photo and list of the Orchestra, Cast, and Chorus. The music and lyrics start on page 17. The cover appears to be a woodblock print in black, white, and shades of orange. A name appears on the cover - it is most likely the artist - Rudolph Samuels. The book has a tight binding and the interior pages are all clean with no marks or writing. The cover has a former owner name in ink at the top of the front upper margin and is repeated on the rear cover in pencil including the name of the residence hall at the U. There is smudging on the rear which is white. The front cover has some very faint pencil writing on the left and right margin. There is a little spotting in the margin and light wear to the corners. Tall, wide, lightweight. ; 4to; 62 pages
