This is a handsome hardcover book in a dust jacket. The book is tight, bright, crisp, clean - without marks or writing. New looking. The dust jacket is equally crisp and clean. The cream white backgroun of the covers is bright except for a short faint mark near the title which is not visible in the jackets new, archival, see-through, removable mylar cover. No chips or tears. No clipped corners. The books are listed chronologically and it appears that all the books have a photo image of the cover. There is a chronological list and an Introduction by Walter H. Lippincott preceding the books. There is an Index by Subject at the rear of the book. ; 8vo; 167 pages

Belleville, NJ Eastwood Wire Corp Softcover 
This is a book published as a tribute to paper making in 'America', in particular the Rittenhouse Mill and William Rittenhouse. It is a small booklet of 22 pages including the self-covers of the same hand made paper. It was hand set using a variety of font styles and a simple, crude decorative border. Old spelling and phrasing is used - heartie, Yr obedient Servant, etc. There are woodcuts of the Rittenhouse home, the William Bradford Printing House, watermarks, map of Philadelphia & Environs, Almanacks. The book includes a poem about paper-making. This book was made by the Eastwood Wire Corp of Belleville, NJ. Their wire was used 'to supply Fourdrinier & cylinder wires to the Leading Mills (sic) of this country'. ; 8vo; 22 pages

This is a softcover periodical of the printing trade, published in Germany, and in written in German with the text translated side-by-side in English. Advertisements and some illustrations are in German only, others are translated into English. There are many articles on printing, paper, and type; some historical, some contemporary to the year of publication. This an ex-library magazine with only a call number typed and taped to the upper left corner of the front cover, some call number stamped and written on the fourth page inside the magazine, and a reference section bookplate on the front inside cover. There are no other marks or writing and the covers and interior are very clean. The cover has a nice color lithograph signed on the plate by Jost. ; 4; Vol. 1; 4to

There are stamps with library numbers on the first page of text. There are no other marks or writing. The content is a facsimile of Acton's handwritten report in 1896. He presented the design for the Cambridge modern, ancient, medieval history series. This set is Volume 1 and 2 of this work by Dibdin. There are some former library marks. There are no marks on the exterior of the books. The name of the library has been perforated with pin point size puncture holes on several pages at the front of each volume - all at the top of the page (the punctures overlap into the top part of the plate in Volume 1 - Dibdin frontispiece) . There are modest bookplates of the library on the inside front end papers (pasted down) over what could be a modest name label of a former owner underneath. The books have 1/2 leather with marbled papers. There is a faint scuffing to the bottom leather edges and a touchof wear to the marbled paper at the very edges. There are headbands and gilt titles. The bindings are tight. The end papers are cream laid paper. The interior pages are crisp and clean with an occasional stamp of the library in tiny letters. Nicely bound. Volume 1 has three plates; 2 has six plates. There are in-text illustrations, some in red and black, some red. Handsome and nicely taken care of for a former library holding. This set may require a small amount of extra postage for international shipping depending on the destination. ; 8vo

The book is tightly bound in brown morocco and brown speckled marbled paper. The end papers are marbled in a different pattern - mostly red. The pages are on a quality paper that has no foxing. The fore-edges and bottom edges are untrimmed and slightly foxed. There is some wear to the spine and corners, especially the paper covered cover board edges. There are 20 page publisher catalog of books for sale at the rear of the book. There is a Dedication, two Prefaces, and 50 Chapters.
