Zurich, Switzerland Edition Stemmle 1999 First Edition Hardcover Illustrated by Hans Neleman 
This is a First Edition hardcover book in a dust jacket. The book would be considered to be in near fine condition if it weren't for bumping to the bottom front corners. The book cover and jacket background is a bright white that is exceptionally clean. The book binding is tight and the interior is also crisp and clean except for a faint smudge on the rear end paper. There are no marks or writing. The dust jacket is crisp and clean and is unclipped. The only flaw is the bumping to the corners which has also cause a light bump in the bottom pages at the rear of the book. This book has a printed label on the inside front end paper stating that "Pages 48 and 49 have been removed as a result of the subject withdrawing permission". Well cared for except for the bumps to the bottom corners. This book is tall and heavy and may require extra shipping if sent internationally. 13" tall x 10 1/4" wide x 1+" thick. This is a softcover catalog for the 1955-1956 Fall-Winter season. This catalog has a tight binding, the covers are quite clean, but there is a little wear at some of the corners and some rubbing.. The interior is crisp and very clean. The paper for some sections has started to tone - yellowing from acidic reaction to the paper content.. The paper used for the color samples is very bright and crisp. There are no dog eared corners, no writing. The catablog has been well cared for. 3 Astruc, Marcel LE THEATRE DAUNOU Excert Pages from Feiullets D'Art
This item is eight pages from Feiullets D'Art - four pages of text and four plates of the Lanvin's Theatre Daunou. There is a wonderful small Art Deco decorative (solid color) lithograph representing theatre chair backs and seats blue fabric with a greyish green for the arms. It is on less than one-half of the last page. There four four plate tipped on to a greyish paper. Two are in color - the first is a full front look of the stage with a female form in the foreground. The other is an artists look at the plan for the buildingon the stage. It includes the over and side decorations of the stage in a Persian design - the colors are blue. There are two other tipped in blints ain offset black/grey on white - one is of an ornate lighting fixture. There are an additional three illustrations withint the text of peacock and monkey decor used in the theatre. The eight pages have been bound in a custom wrapper. ; 8vo; 8 pages

Paris Editions Nilsson N.D. Softcover Very Good+ with no dust jacket  
This set includes 10 Volumes of pochoir prints with text in French depicting French fashion from 1037 to 1870. Each volume contains twelve pages of prints, each page has approximately 9 to 15 images. Printed in France c.1925, the prints are shown in a style similar to the pochoir prints of the artists known for their Art Deco fashion art. Pochoir is a form of stencil. Ink has been applied to outlines of drawings. Each page is an original inked print, some in metallic ink. The drawings depict fashion over the centuries. The fashions of the eras include robes and capes, headdress, gloves, full dress, tunics, sleeves, neck pieces, embroidery and trim, purses, jewelry, and footwear. There is also a pochoir print on the front and back of each cover. Each volume is covered in a glassine wrap which is well worn. All covers are in good condition except one which has a blue offset stain that is mostly in the margins except for one line that goes across the print on the cover. There are a few short closed tears on the cover. The interior pages are near fine, very clean and without marks. The eras decited are: Moyen Age, Rennaissance, Henri III-Louis XIII, Louis IV, Louis XV, Louis XVI, Revolution, Empire, Restauration, Second Empire. The size of each plate is 14 5/8 inches high x 10 3/4 inches wide. ; Vol. 1/10/06; 4to
