This is a softcover Auction Catalog from Anderson Galleries of New York presenting the rugs of Frederick Moore - January 3, 1918. The cover is beige art paper with simple printing on the cover. There is one color plate (frontispiece) . 40 pages. 131 items. The book is tight, bright, crisp, and clean. Because the paper cover is soft art paper and designed with thin yap (overlap) edges, there are hints of soft corners. There is also a chip at the bottom of the spine and a closed tear at the top of the spine - now carefully restored. There are no marks or writing. The interior pages are bright and crisp and no mark-ups. ; 4to; 40 pages

This is a reprint of the 1886 - 1887 Catagloue. Included with the cataglue is a separately printed Price List. 99 pages in a soft paper cover with a stapled binding. The front cover is a facsimile of the original. The condition is very good. There is a stlight curl to the corners of the front cover, but no chips, tears, and quite clean. The finterior pages are equally crisp and clean on quality paper with clearn reproduction photographs. There are no marks or writing except for a check mark on one of Tall oblong, 9" tall, nea 11" wide. There is a hanndsome reprofuction of an elaborate clodk on the rear cover. ; 8vo; 99 pages

This is a handsome exhibition catalog from 1966. There were 172 items detailed in this catalog on art paper, followed by 60 black and white photograph plates of some of the items. The details are nicely arranged on a cream art paper, the plates are on glossy paper. There is a soft green art paper cover with a line drawing of serving pieces with a floral design embossed and in white. The binding is tight and the covers are quite clean except for a loss of color in two tiny places on the rear cover. There is a faint touch or corner wear at the tips of the front corners. There is a spot on the inside cover that transferred to the end paper. There are no marks or writing. The interior pages are crisp and clean. The exhibition dates were June 10 through July 31 (1966) . ; 8vo

This is a softcover catalog of tools from around the late 1940's. The catalog lists the name, details, and rices for the items. The catalog is iquite details and there is some text for the items in each category. There are some camera images, also. The last pages are full of helpful information about measuring. There are extensive cross-referenced indexes. The catalog has been used, but is still in quite nice conditon. The cover has a repaired tear at the bottom of the spine at the outside. The covers are clean. There is a former owner name discreetly stamped in on the reverse. All the pages are clean. They all appear to be without marks or writing. There is a tiny spol on the top edge and wo pages have corner creases as if to makr a page. ; 8vo; 287 pages

This is a softcover book of 111 pages, The book is about rugs and carpets, with photos of carpet and background information. Included with information about various carpets, there is a glossary for art symbols woven into the rug, a chart listing names of rugs and their warf, wept, and knots to inch, markets, workers. . There is a section with photos of the area and prints. All illustrations are in half tone black and white, The photos of places and prints at the back of the book are quite small. The binding is tight. The cover was a purple, but has faded to a lighter neutral purple, lighter on the spine and pronounced on the back. There is a water stain at the bottom spine corner. The first blank page has no writing or marks, but there is a touch of soil. The interior pages are quite bright and crisp. The title on the cover has also faded. No date, the latest date discovered withint the text is 1892. Lawrence Winters wrote the Introduction. ; 8vo; 111 pages

This book contains two volumes of The Ladies Garland and Family Magazine bound in one (binding) . Volume 10, July to December 1846 and Volume 11 from January to June, 1847. The book is 3/4 dark brown leather and pebbled cloth covers. The end papers are marbled in a complimentary design. There are eight hand-colored floral and bird engravings and a number of black and white steel engravings and mezzotints throughout. The spine is titled Ladies Garland and Volume 10. There is decorative gilt as well. The covers have some scuffed corners with some breakthrough of the leather. There is a slight loss of cloth at the fore-edges on the book. There is a small label of a Rochester, NY bookstore on the upper corner of the front end paper. There is a name and place (Laurence, KS) in pencil on the first blank page. There is another name in pencil on the title page. There is another or the same Lawrence, KS name on the verso of the end paper in pencil, plus some very, small words in pencil. The binding is tight, Except for the scuffing, the covers are clean. , There are no marks on the end papers other than what has been described. The pages are fairly clean of smudges, with a touch of foxing throughout, a little heavier in spots. There is also some offsetting from the engravings. Most of the hand-colored engravings are covered in a fine tissue paper. There are some ink splatters on the last dozen or so pages. There is a short tear on the first blank page - repaired with Japanese tissue paper. One of the articles is titled "How to Reform a Husband". The quality of the coloring is good to very good, not as fine as in more dedicated floral books from the same time period. There are 192 pages in each volume. Charming. ; Vol. 10/11/2010; 8vo

SIGNED. This is a Signed First Edition hardcover book with a dust jacket and in a slipcase. The book was signed on the half-title page. The covers are a handsome purple and white clothe with silver metallic ink for the title and a cartouche. The book would be fine if not for a few small flaws (smudge, tear, crinkle, spot) at the middle of the book, scattered, between pages 165 and 172. They are possibly caused by the printing and binding of the book. The end papers are perfect, all other pages are fine. Crisp and clean. There no other marks of writing. There is a crinkle and closed tear to the dust jacket at the bottom rear corner and a faint touch of wear at other corners. Price clipped, crisp and clean. Metallic silver background with a metallic trim on a kimono image. Large, thick (374 pages) , tall (11 1/2") book . Profusely illustrated with black and white and quality color photos. This comment for this catalog states that this list of wares is "The earliest list of American glass recorded to date". This guidee cover over 60 categories of products. Three examples Bee Keeper's Equipment and Supplies, Fire Engines, Windmills in addition to the usual such as Medical supplies, Paint, etc. Finely researched. The Foreword was written by A. Hyatt Mayor of the Metropolitican Museum of Art. The book is in near fine, very good plus condition. Tight, bright, crisp, and clean. No creased to the spine. This is a hardcover book in a dust jacket from the 'Pitmans' Craft For All Series'. The covers are a yellow and the spine is a soft green cloth, The , jacket has an ornate design in black and white. The binding is tight, the covers strong and without wear, however there is little spot and some darkening to the top edge. The pages are crisp and clean. There are no marks or writing. The dust jacket shows wear - some closed tears, a little chipping to the corners, a tiny ship on the rear edge of the spine, some soiling to the front panel and spine which has a white background. It is now protected in a new, archival, see-through, and removable mylar cover which makes the book and jacket appear bright and cared for. There is a handsome lithograph of a cigarette box with pewter decoration used as the frontispiece for the book. There are many other illustrations in black and white throughout the book. ; 8vo; 113 pages
