The first was published in Mainneapolis in 1941 by the Bruelheide Bridge Guild; the second by The United States Playing Card Company in Cincinnati, OH. (1959? ) . Both books have a tight binding - stiff paper covers bound with staples. Both show light wear to the cover - small stain on the back cover, a chip at the top of the spine. Quite clean. The interior pages are all clean and crisp except one has an interior page with a crease and has been strengthened with archival tissue paper. The quality of the paper is a little poor which is typical for the years and is starting to darken in one of the books. ; 8vo
