This a handsome first editon hardcover book without a dust jacket. The book has brown cloth covers with beveled edges and a front cover with a blinded-stamped decorative desgin with black ink and a bright gilt. The title on the spine is also gilt, but less bright. The binding is tight; the inside hinge has been carefully reinforced. The end papers are coated brown and very clean without any marks or writing. The rear end paper is clipped on the corner. The interior pages are very clean. There is a former owner name and date on the first blank page. With black and white illustrations throughout. ; Engravings; 8vo; 131 pages
