Phildelphia or Chicago; State of Affairs in Russia The Thibet (Tibet) Mystery; Latest Wonder of Science Blondlot or N-Rays; Is the Church Capitalistic; The Lot of American Singers Their Trials and Rewards; The Diseases of Metals. The magazine covers domestic and foreign news, sociology, science, letters and art, religious. There are cartoons, some photos, many advertisements. The magazines would be considered very good if not for the spines which show some wear. Generally clean covers and interior pages. No marks, no writing, no chips or creases. ; 8vo

This is a first edition hardcover book in a dust jacket. The book is in near fine condition - tight, bright, very clean and without marks or writing. The unclipped dust jacket is equally clean and crisp, but with some edge wear. There is a small section of black and white photographs. The introdution is by Budd Schulbert and the Foreward by Norman Mailer. The Table of Contents is a list of celebrities and special days in the life of Conrad. I peeked at the story on Hunter Thompson, Mohammed Ali, and Conrad - it is a 3 1/2 page story with everyone in-character as I would expect and could not stop smiling. ; 8vo; 276 pages

10 Thompson, Hunter S. HELL'S ANGELS A Strange and Terrible Saga

This is the second printing in hardcover with a dust jacket. The book has a tight binding. The covers are clean , however there seems to be a flecking of the silver metallic ink used in a silouette of a biker on the front cover - A few fine flecks are caught in the rich black cloth used for the covers. The covers are clean and corners straight. The pages and end papers are very clean; there are no marks or writing, however there is a narrow corner crease on one page towards the back of the book. The metallic silver silouette of a biker shows a little fading at the book edge. Stated Second Printing. The top edges are tinted a dark charcoal and the front and bottom edges are untrimmed. The dust jacket is in fair condition only. It is unclipped (the original price of $4.95 is present) . There is a half inch triangle chip at the top of the spine along with two closed tears and top edge wear. There is a puncture at the rear panel side of the spine with loss of paper. There is chipping at the bottom of the spine and two other closed tears with edge wear and a crease on the inside flap. The jacket looks more crisp in its archival, see-through, removable mylar cover. The book looks well cared for, the jacket received some rough handling on the shelf or in a box. ; 8vo; 279 pages
