SIGNED. This is a hardcover book with a dust jacket. It has been Signed by the Author on the front free end paper following an inscription in German in small ink script. From the front of the dust jacket. - "An analysis of the work of the famous Viennese poet and dramatist, the last outstanding survivor of that brilliant literary group dominating Austrian literature at the turn of the century. " The book covers are a bright red cloth with a diminished gilt title on the spine. The covers are clean except for a slight darkening at the top of the edge on the front cover. The interior pages and end papers are clean and without marks or writing. The dust jacket shows wear. The top edge of the front panel has been torn away. There are other chips and small tears and rubbing to the surface of the colored layer of the jacket and a hint of soiling. The jacket is now protected in a new, archival, see-through, removable mylar cover. Well cared for except the handling of the jacket. This is about Beer -Hofmann.
